The Haynes family session was such a beautiful reminder of why I love in-home photography!

Their two little ones, almost seven and almost four, were absolute bundles of energy and joy. From the moment I stepped inside, it was clear that this was going to be a session filled with love, laughter, and everyday moments.

We kept everything super laid back, moving from room to room and letting the kids take charge. Their mom mentioned that they love board games and snuggling with their stuffies, so we made sure to capture plenty of those moments. But this session held an even deeper meaning – this family lost their daughter last year, and the two stuffed animals in the photos were precious tokens the kids use to remember their little sister. Seeing how they held onto them with such love was truly moving, a testament to the unbreakable bond of family and their love for each other.

Embracing the Cozy & Connected Vibes

I’ve always considered myself a homebody, but not in the traditional sense. For me, home is about feeling connected, recharged, and fully present with my loved ones. It’s where I feel like the best version of myself… Free from the distractions of the outside world, able to soak in the chaos and the quiet moments with my kids.

That’s why in-home sessions are so important to me. At home, kids can be their wild, wonderful selves without any pressure. Their imaginations come alive, and their laughter fills the air. The little moments – the ones that might seem ordinary – become the most extraordinary memories. I can stay in my joggers (big win!). I can let go of the need to impress, and just embrace the beauty of everyday life. We get to embrace the cozy, connected vibes.
